Pastor Michael and his family came to Georgetown in November 2020, leaving the frozen tundra of Wasilla, AK, after 5 years serving as the pastor of the West Valley Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Michael prepared for ministry at Olivet Nazarene University graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Children's Ministry and in 2012 with a Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Ministry. He and his wife, Mindy, married in June 2012 and have four beautiful girls: Jane (9), Rebecca (7), Hannah (4), and Clara (born in 2024).

Outside of the church, you can find Pastor Michael serving with the Georgetown Fire Department, as well as officiating High School football, baseball, and softball. Pastor Michael also services the Vice President of Illinois District Nazarene Youth International and is responsible for helping plan multiple events for the youth of our district.

The Flowers are excited about what God is doing here at Georgetown Nazarene and are looking forward to all that God is going to do in the days to come.
